2007 Honorary Grand Marshal
Reed Diamond, from NBC's new hit show "Journeyman", will serve as this year's Honorary Grand Marshal. Reed stars as Jack Vasser on "Journeyman", a romantic mystery-drama about Dan Vasser, a San Francisco newspaper reporter and family man who inexplicably begins to travel through time and change people's lives. "Journeyman" is the number one show at 10 p.m. in the Bay Area.
Diamond was born and raised in New York City. He attended college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and then went on to study acting at the Juilliard School in New York. His professional career began in 1990 with his co-starring role in the feature film "Memphis Belle." Following that, he appeared on Broadway in many television movies, and in guest-starring roles on television.
However, Diamond is probably best known for playing Detective Mike Kellerman on the critically acclaimed television series "Homicide: Life On The Street."
Diamond most recently guest-starred on television in "October Road," "Ghost Whisperer," "Vanished," "Without a Trace," "Numb3rs," NBC's "Law & Order," "CSI," NBC's "Medium," "The West Wing," "Judging Amy," "Crossing Jordan," and "The Shield."
Some of Reed's most notable film credits include "Good Night, and Good Luck," "Spider-Man 2" and "S.W.A.T."
