Holiday Heroes The San Jose Holiday Parade is not complete without the almighty Holiday Heroes! The Holiday Heroes are protectors of the community and the parade. Spectators young and old join in delight as the heroes make their way through the streets of Downtown San Jose entertaining all on parade morning! The 2009 Holiday Heroes bring smiles and cheer to fans of the parade and its many auxiliary events. Holiday Hero Wolverine is one of a kind with his superhuman immune system and his agility and strength. For starters, he is able to regenerate damaged areas on his body in minutes! The Incredible Hulk, weighing in at over 300 lbs, with limitless strength and superhuman physical ability will dazzle parade guests at Adventures in Toyland! Returning hero Spider-Man, who is a freelance photographer by day and web-slinging superhero by night, has saved the world over and over again in numerous comic book series, syndicated newspaper comic strips, and several animated and live-action television shows. These heroic defenders against evil will undoubtedly astonish you during their stay in San Jose. Come join in the wonder and catch these superheroes attention as they pass by in the parade in emergency vehicles.
