Each year the San Jose Holiday Parade invites numerous top bands to participate in this competition. There are three divisions, two for the high schools and one middle school. Professional judges rate them on musical quality, performance, general effect and entertainment value. In 2002, long-time parade sponsor, Wells Fargo, has stepped forward to sponsor the Battle of the Bands. Here is the list of winners in the Batle of the Bands by Wells Fargo.
